The Flood Aid barrier is shaped like a book-end unit that consists of a wall part (damming effect), an anchoring part (the base that rests on the ground) and a sealing part (the front edge of the base).
Water pressure holds the Flood Aid tight! Its patented designs of multiple corrugations on the base and streamlined wall lead the water pressure to face towards the base.
As the water rises, the Flood Aid remains in place because of the weight of the water, which presses the L-shaped barriers into the ground firmly and against the adjacent panels. When multiple units are connected, a wavy arch is formed which increases the seal and tightens the grip.
