PART 1: STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT

BIC Trolleys Ltd is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, clients, and the general public.

PART 2: SCOPE

This policy applies to all personnel involved in trolley collection, retrieval, cleaning, and maintenance activities carried out in retail carparks, public streets, and shopping Centres across the Auckland region (Full document available upon request)

3.1 Provide a safe working environment through effective planning, supervision, and resource allocation

3.2 Employee and Contractor Responsibilities

o Comply fully with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and instructions.

o Eliminate, isolate, or minimise hazards using the correct control hierarchy.

PART 5: PPE REQUIREMENTS

o Completion of site-specific induction and annual refresher training is mandatory.

PART 7: RESPECTFUL WORKPLACE AND CONDUCT

PART 8: INCIDENT REPORTING AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE

o All incidents, including near misses, must be reported immediately.

PART 9: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

o Dispose of all waste in designated areas, in accordance with Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) guidelines.
